The Nursery

After much debating I think we’ve finally settled on some colors and patterns for the baby’s nursery. One of our first baby gifts was from my mom. It is a soft lamb with a music box inside that plays “Jesus Loves Me.” Then she confessed her secret – that she was sewing baby quilts before Beth and I were even married and that one of the patterns she had was a lamb. (Nice mom!) She offered to sew that quilt with the colors we choose. I think we’ve finally settled on the colors. I didn’t think that I was a theme person but it’s very subtle and just started coming together. I hope this baby comes into the word as sweet and innocent as a lamb, knowing he’s pastured by the Great Shepherd.
