Several of you have been asking if I notice any change in N since his surgery.
No, not yet.
Little legs still drawn up. Still having episodes of not peeing, though they are shorter. He’s still medicated with Neurotin which I have mixed feelings weaning off – it makes him sleep comfortably but he has such a flat aflec and I am longing for some smiles and interaction from my babes.
The clock started yesterday. It’s been three weeks since the surgery. We’ve given the nerves some time to regrow and regenerate. Between now and four months we’re supposed to start noticing some changes. Now we need to make a plan for slowly getting him off the Neurontin.
And so starts a new plan.
And we keep marching forward…
“rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” – Col 2:7
