I’ve Become More “Green” Working from Home

1) Use Less Water – I do not need to shower as frequently when working alone. All of my meetings happen over the phone.

2) Low Fuel Consumption – My car only leaves the garage for trips to spin class, yoga, and the grocery store. Although I have been known to escape to Starbucks for a little pick-me-up!

3) Less Paper – Instead of sending dozens of e-mails, agendas, marketing plans to the printer every day, I just read documents on my computer. When it’s your own personal ink, you find you only print out what’s absolutely necessary.

So, it has it’s perks all while making the earth a better place. (Just don’t ask me how much more toilet paper we go through in a given month!)

My book, Beauty in Broken Dreams: A Hopeful Handbook for the Early Years as a Special Needs Parent, is now available on Amazon!
