Look who’s feeling better just in time for Christmas.
N turned a corner a couple of days ago. He still has a lingering cough but he’s no longer spiking high temps and as whimpery and lethargic as last week. We are thankful he’s come through it so well and hoping no one else gets it, especially my parents who’ve come for Christmas.
The first day I was considered not contagious, I jumped at the chance to get out of the house and attend M’s Christmas party at school.
And we’ve been making cookies, decorating gingerbread houses, driving around looking at lights, watching Christmas movies, and wrapping LOTS of presents. Whew!
I’ve also turned all your Christmas cards into prayer cards. I have a reputation around my house for being the declutterer who “threw that out already.” This year however I’m hanging on to all your Christmas cards. I’ve put them on a binder ring. They’ll become my prayer cards for 2014.
Email me at kathleenjill (at) gmail (com) if you didn’t send us a card. I’ll add one to the ring for you!
Merry Christmas to all!
