Despite February being a short month in the number of days, it felt like an unending one according to our calendar. I know my friends and family in the Midwest are going to roll their eyes when they read this, but I am ready for it to get a bit warmer. We were stuck inside the house and at the doctor’s office way too much. While I am slowly getting used to the fact that a large percentage of my life will be spent in waiting rooms, everything is just a little bit brighter when the sun is shining once you walk outside.
Enjoy the moments we captured. My favorite photos are of the two of the boys together. You’ll notice M has picked up on some of the neck stretches we do for N to keep his head straight. M is also very good at holding N for a quick picture but once he’s done N gets either pushed, or in the case at the bottom, pulled off him.
N turned nine months at the end of February. I don’t have an accurate weight to report. At the Cardiologist on Monday he weighed 16 lbs, 4 oz nude. On Friday at the Pulmonologist he weighed 17 pounds, 7 oz with clothes and a diaper. Even though we have been increasing his caloric intake I was surprised by that gigantic leap. Bottom line: he’s growing and for that we are thankful.
