As we were preparing for the first day of school earlier this week I told Mac, “Today is the last day of summer vacation.”
To which he tried to make a logical connection with the question, “Does that mean we can’t go swimming anymore?”
Well buddy good thing you live in Texas where it’s still especially hot, the pools are still open, and fortunately for Mommy, wearing white after Labor Day doesn’t seem like such a terrible fashion faux pas.
Here are some beautiful pictures of Mac’s summer of swimming taken by my parent’s neighbor and his underwater camera back in June. Super cool. Super fun way to remember this summer.
Nathan’s therapist tells me that just letting him kick in the water with no sense of gravity is good for him. So here is a picture of Nathan playing in the pool too, but he’s actually more into the dog (probably also good therapy). That’s a low hanging fruit y’all. Fun therapy for us all.
Happy Labor Day everyone! We had a good one spending ours with Grandma and Grandpa.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. He will not let your foot slip – he who watches over you will not slumber; indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep. The Lord watches over you – the Lord is your shade at your right hand; the sun will not harm you by day, nor the moon by night. The Lord will keep you from all harm – he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.” -Psalm 121
