Brotherly Love

I’m continually amazed by the connection these two have with one another. I think big kid intuitively knows he has a high calling as N’s big brother. I’ve said it before that with all of the initial chaos surrounding N’s birth, M has only taken his anxiety out on us, not N. That continues to be the case. He’s so gentle, concerned and willing to explain to anyone – interested or not – how the G-tube works. To him it’s completely normal.

N watches big bro in the most intent and inquisitive way. When we were doing a therapy session last week the only thing we could get him to consistently track was big brother. I agree that he’s a pretty entertaining kiddo.

This is M reading N a Bible story.

Buckling him into the swing so he’s safe.

Making sure he was included in the pumpkin painting project.
